NASHVILLE, TN (November 6, 2026) – Red Street Records' Neo-traditionalist Walker Montgomery releases “Right in The Middle,” available everywhere today (STREAM). The single, written by Clint Daniels, Michael White and Jeff Hyde, features production that feels faintly nostalgic yet simultaneously fresh. Walker’s velvet voice floats through the waves of regret and stirs up emotions for the listener. The Kentucky native proves why he’s one of the best song interpreters of his generation on the sweetly poignant new ballad.
“Classic break up songs are a staple in traditional country music. ‘Right in the Middle’ is just that. Country to the core with that classic sound that’s straight out of 1995,” says Montgomery.
Alongside today's release, fans can watch Montgomery deliver a compelling performance of his latest single in an official visualizer, directed by Olivia Pierce and Red Street's Cambria Sojka.

While today's heartbreak ballad "Right In The Middle" tells a story of heartache, Walker's life proves quite the opposite. Just weeks ago he married the love of his life, Krista Slaubaugh (Tigirlily Gold). Their beautiful wedding, which coupled Krista’s Western up-bringing with Walker’s Southern one, was featured exclusively on People.com and can be seen HERE.
