Oct 23, 2026 - Nashville, TN - Red Street Records' 3X GRAMMY nominated CCM star Danny Gokey released a brand-new rendition of his holiday original single, "The Moment The Whole World Changed" alongside 2025 Billboard No. 1 Top New Christian Artist Megan Woods(STREAM). After an impactful 2025 release, Gokey teamed up with the RIAA gold-certified breakout artist for a powerful reimagining, which continues to bring to life the magnitude and glory of our Savior's birth through a chorus that sings,
"That in one night / The whole world changed / As the heavenly host proclaimed / Glory to God and peace on earth / In a manger our Savior lay / It was the moment the whole world changed"
Gokey shares, "I wanted to write this song to have an angelic and sacred approach to retell the most incredible story of all time---the birth of our Savior, Jesus. Just writing these words now reminds me how His life makes a difference for every man, woman and child. Each of my four children caused our lives to be blessed, and we are so thankful, but His birth was literally THE MOMENT THE WHOLE WORLD CHANGED."
Written by Gokey alongside Mitch Wong and produced by Keith Everette Smith, today's "The Moment The Whole World Changed" ft. Megan Woods drops alongside an official video. Viewers can watch a soulful studio performance delivered with the commanding, full-bodied vocals of CCM favorites Gokey and Woods.
