The song, which emphasizes the awe-inspiring magnitude of the birth of Christ and reminds listeners of the true meaning behind the Christmas season, has become an instant fan-favorite amongst holiday listeners (STREAM). Directed by Gokey himself, the official music video features a powerful performance of the song alongside a radiant church choir and string section.
"Getting the opportunity to direct this video was extremely fun and fostered a deeper level of creativity," Gokey shares. "There's something very fulfilling about bringing a vision to life—from conception to completion, not just through the music, but visually too. This song is very meaningful to me in a lot of ways, and being behind the camera let me make sure every frame captured the heart behind the lyrics. Working with a new, talented photography director named Hunter Ward, allowed me to see this Christmas message come alive in all the ways I had envisioned it."
