CONSUMED BY FIRE DROPS EMOTIONAL POWER BALLAD "LETTERS TO HEAVEN"
Nov 21, 2025 - Nashville, TN - KLOVE Fan Awards nominees and Christian radio chart toppers Consumed By Fire released their latest single, "Letters To Heaven,"available everywhere today (STREAM). The song, released just in time for the holidays, touches on the often heartbreaking side of a season that's meant to be filled with joy. While families gather and communities come together, the band sings of the hollow longing for loved ones lost with a chorus that echoes,
"Cause I’ve got all these words / Running through my head / Things that I wish that I would’ve said / God, I’m not sure how this works / But could ya push this one through? / Could you talk to them / While I’m talking to you / There will be a day that we’ll all be together / Til then is there a postman or a stamp in forever / I’ve got letters to Heaven"
Written by band members Jordan and Caleb Ward alongside Brian White and produced by award-winning producer and Red Street CEO Jay DeMarcus, "Letters To Heaven" follows the group's most recent single, "Higher Places" (STREAM), which hits Christian radio in January 2026. Today's track also drops alongside an official music video, which features an emotional, soul-stirring performance by the band (WATCH).

Consumed By Fire member Jordan Ward shares, "It’s been an amazing past couple of years for us as a family. So many dreams have come to fruition, and we truly feel like we’re living in the promises of God more and more every day. One day last year the guys and I were giving praise to God and expressing our thankfulness in conversation, and I remember saying 'God, let Dad see all of this goodness happening for our family. I don’t know exactly how it works, but if I could send a letter to Heaven, this is what I’d wanna tell him right now.'
I feel like we’ve all been there, in one way or another, with loved ones that have gone on ahead of us to be with Jesus; feeling like you wish you could just send them an update on all God has done. Dad used to tell us, 'when that day comes that I go home to be with Jesus, just know that I’m still very much alive. I’ve just changed addresses - and I’ll be cheering you on in all of your spiritual advancements from the grandstands of Heaven.' We certainly believe that’s the case.
Our prayer is that 'Letters To Heaven' ministers to every heart that might be longing to see their loved ones that have 'changed addresses' this holiday season."
