Written by Consumed By Fire's Jordan and Caleb Ward alongside the song's CMA-award winning producer Jay DeMarcus, today's "He's Alive" follows the band's recent release "God's Still Working on Me" (LISTEN) and their steadily climbing radio single, "Higher Places," (STREAM). After impacting just six weeks ago, the single continues to gain rapid traction, recently breaking into the Top 40 on both Christian AC and Christian Audience charts.

Band member Jordan Ward shares, "I remember the day we wrote this song (with Jay DeMarcus)… He said 'Boys, what do you feel like we need? What’s a message we still need more of?'
I remember telling the guys earlier in the week that it had shocked me that we had never in our history directly written a song about RESURRECTION, which bothered me because we quote Romans 8 regularly - 'the same power that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in me and quickens my mortal body.' It’s a part of our daily confessions, prayers, and lifestyle. Like how Paul said, 'that I may KNOW Him in the power of His resurrection…' We knew this was the season to release a song about it.
It’s one of the fundamental and 'elementary' doctrines of our faith, and yet so often we see it reserved for only one weekend a year when it should be on the tip of our tongues everyday… Keeping a conscious state of mind on the fact that Jesus wasn’t just a historical figure, but that He is a PRESENT living being currently seated at the right hand of the Father and that same Spirit that raised Him from the dead is ALIVE and AT WORK IN (and through) ME."
