DYLAN DEMARCUS DROPS DEBUT RELEASE, "BLESS THE BROKEN ROAD"

DYLAN, SON OF RASCAL FLATTS MEMBER JAY DEMARCUS, REIMAGINES FATHER'S RIAA PLATINUM-CERTIFIED HIT

Jan 9, 2025 - Nashville, TN - Nashville native and son of Rascal Flatts member Jay DeMarcus, thirteen-year-old Dylan DeMarcus released his debut track- a cover of his father's chart-topping single, "Bless The Broken Road"- available everywhere today (STREAM). After a video posted by Dylan's uncle, Rascal Flatts lead vocalist Gary Levox, went viral, fans left the young musician no choice but to record and release his own rendition of song.

Jay DeMarcus shares, “Dylan and I had already begun working on some music for him to release when the time was right. The timing became right after the huge reaction from a couple of posts that Gary was kind enough to showcase on his own platforms. We went into the studio last Saturday and rushed to finish this first release. I couldn’t be more proud of my son obviously, but to watch his growth in musicality, and see his passion for it continue to grow over the last couple of years, has been astounding. He has all of the things you can’t teach."

Peaking at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart where it stayed for five weeks, it also earned the No. 3 spot on Billboard's 2005 year-end Country Songs chart. Today's new version, produced by Jay DeMarcus, offers listeners a taste of Dylan's mature vocal range accompanied by his father's instrumentation on both the keys and electric guitar.
